COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Zure Van Tildonk is an original Belgian Sour Ale from Farm-Brewery Hof Ten Dormaal. With this beer, the brewery strived to create a special, spontaneoussly-fermented beer via traditional methods using ambient yeast from the brewery-farm in Tildonk. Each batch of Zure van Tildonk is carefully aged in the cellars of Engelburch Monastery for several months prior to release.

Klassisches Sour ohne große Höhen. Angenehm zu trinken, leicht fruchtig, dazu etwas arg im Essig, aber die Beeren im Hintergrund sind nicht schlecht, Schon ne gute Sache.

McTapps (6856) - Reutlingen, GERMANY - FEB 3, 2016
Bottle bought in the Netherlands. The beer has got a hazy light amber-strawy colour with a low head and medium body. Aroma of yeast, malt and acid. Taste of yeast, straw, flowers, mild sourness, plaster and unripe fruits. Expected more.

3.8
erickok (6034) - Leuven, BELGIUM - NOV 11, 2015
Golden body, medium head. Interesting aroma, sour candy, green apple. Perhaps not as delicate or complex as the well known ones, but I dig the fruitiness an liveliness. (375ml bottle from QV.ID)

3.5
danlo (3015) - Darlington, Durham, ENGLAND - JUN 13, 2015
330ml bottle from Mikkeller webshop. Yellow golden colour with a foamy white head leaving lacing. Grainy aroma with citrus and funk. Sour tart citric taste with lactic notes, grain, woody and yeasty funk. Sharp mouthfeel, light bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy sour finish. Refreshing, quite drinkable.
