Sample on tap at the brewpub. Listed as 5.9%, 9 IBU. Clear golden color. Thin white head, kind of bubbly, with decent ropes of lace. Golden ale base with pumpkin spice it seems, it’s noticeable but not over the top. Medium body. Smooth kind of crisp carbonation with a nice light dry finish. Moderate bitter taste, mild dry, less sweet. Decent and easy-drinking, but getting less pumpkin and more spice than I’d like. Jethro6191 (508) - Indiana, USA - OCT 14, 2014
On tap at the brewery. Pours gold-orange with an off-white head. Good lacing. Pumpkin pie, nutmeg, and cinnamon aromas. Pumpkin pie flavors. Light body with medium carbonation. Smooth mouthfeel with a sweet finish. b3shine (9011) - Indiana, USA - OCT 16, 2013
Draft to taster at ZwanzigZ. Looks good for the style; a slightly hazy fuller gold with thin off-white head and spices sprinkled on top. Smells solid; nutmeg, cinnamon, cocoa, and pumpkin. Tastes like it smells with a nice mouthfeel. A good example of the style. Patrickctenchi (6660) - Cox’s Knob, columbus, Indiana, USA - OCT 13, 2013
Cloudy yellow, thick white head.
Cinnamon, spice, pumpkin aroma.
Heavily spiced pumpkin flavor.
Actually gives you a little cinnamon burn, like Big Red Gum.
Lively, crisp, tingly.
Very good. shrubber85 (11506) - Greenville, Indiana, USA - NOV 18, 2012
UPDATED: OCT 1, 2016 Draft. Nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, and caramel malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet nutmeg, cinnamon, pumpkin, caramel malt, and lightly bitter hay flavor. Great balance - not too sweet or spicy. Excellent, a great pumpkin beer (re-rated - the first time I had this beer, they sprinkled pumpkin pie spices on the top so was pretty much impossible to really determine the true flavor or aroma).
