Widely available in Russia, presumed brewed at all or most of SABMiller’s breweries there, but some evidence exists that this originated at the Kaluga brewery.

Bottled. Deep golden colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is cardboard, wet paper, some dry sour wood as well. Quite harsh. Flavour is cardboard, some malts and rather papery. Not very pleasant.

Mostly golden. Thick head. Earthy malt aroma but still macrobrew with heavy industrial elements. Taste is a bit grainy, but otherwise fairly clean with a little bit of fruitiness.

500ml can (Maxima, Kaunas)
5 Sweet malty aroma, rather feeble, but just a hint of ginger too.
3- light orange, tiny head after a fizzy pour.
5- Very simple grainy body, a little white-bready, sweetish, and perhaps a touch corny. Warmer, some estery retronasals come over.
2 Watery, but with pleasant carbonation. Very little to the finish, almost no hopping , just a tiny tingle, and the malts are thin with no staying power.
9 Fairly drinkable pale lager, more malts than many, and no obvious flaws.

500ml bottle, thanks to Elisabeth for sharing. Clear golden, towards amber, coloured body. Fading white head. Aroma of sweet, pale malts. Papery dry taste profile with hints of pale malts and lemon. Dry in the mouth. Soft carbonated. Possible to drink (at a session in Tromsø, 26.10.2011).

A simply pale lager, medium bitterness. Practical bottles. A pleasant and light beer.

Marduk (8380) - Reval, ESTONIA - MAY 6, 2012
0,5l bottle. Clear dark yellow color. Small white head, disappears quickly. Metallic, grainy aroma. Watery body. Not much of the taste. Slight grain, faint hints of sweetness. Smooth to drink.

Ganz ok.

Bottle. Golden with thick lasting head and some lace. Grainy aroma has some, but slight, phenols. Drinkable with nice soft carbonation. On the sweet side but fairly clean and definitely inoffensive.
