On tap at Zwei poured a clear amber with a lingering ring of amber foam. Aromas of caramel, earthiness and light fruitiness. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Flavors of caramel, light earthiness and a hint of fruitiness with a smooth dry finish.

GABF 2015. color looks a little light for a Vienna. Nice white head. A little sweetness initially, malt, and then it gets dry and stays dry though the finish.

anyone who thinks this beer is mediocre or "just okay" is a chump with poor taste and an unsophiticated palate.

On tap at the brewery. Clear golden appearance with a lingering, lacy white head. Aroma and flavor is clean, malty, light nutty, toasty and grainy with light earthy hop bitterness. Average body with a crisp feel and ample carbonation. A good lager overall.

This is sort of an orange beer w/ a small head. It has a mild nose and overall has a sort of oxidized malt character which is tolerably nutty and flavorful. It’s a bit sticky and sweet on the palate and overcarbonated. I am not a fan.

On tap @ Zwei Brewing. Light orange pour with a white head. This tastes and smells like bad, watery iced tea. Smells like orange jelly candies, too. Kind of just sugary and grainy all around and almost has a raw wort character to it. Not really palatable to me.

Pour on tap at the brewery, clear yellow orange pour with white head, aroma brought notes of caramel, bread, dough, some slight fruit, grass, with a touch of grain. Taste was a mix of husk, grain, bread, caramel, some grass into a bit of yeast, touch of fruit, finishing slightly sweet, slightly bitter.

On tap @ Zwei Brüder. Pours a touch hazy golden yellow appearance with a creamy white head. Aroma is very herbal -lots of grass and grain- with some light fruit. Medium light body. A touch of nuttiness, lemon, grass, and toast. Finishes toasty. Maybe a touch sweet. Not fucken bad.

On tap @ Zwei Bruder. Clear dark golden orange appearance with a white head. Aroma has toast, crackers, light nuttiness, and a bit of minerals. Medium light body. A bit chalky. Fairly dry. Little fruit, mostly herbal and grassy. Not bad.

(on tap at the brewery as NeueVienna Lager 5.1%/28ibu) Surprisingly clear golden with a thin white cap. Lovely nose with a brew house aroma of cereal grains and cashews and balanced earthy noble hops. Clean bright flavor with some marzen notes but also brew house spent grain and doughiness and nice light noble hops. It’s a lovely beer. And it smells/tastes the way a brewery does. A beer nerds base.
