0,33l bottle. Full aroma, full taste, lightly bitter, not aggressive finish: a very decent Pils!

Golden with a small white head. Clean malty aroma with biscuit and read crust character, and nice herbal hops. Sweetish malty flavour with a good hop character Quack-Duck (9533) - Down South, GERMANY - APR 1, 2013
bottle from Merkur Wien-Hütteldorf. Clear pale yellow, creamy white head, lovely aromatic hop aroma. Light-bodied, elegant malty base with a good amount of aomatic hops, presumably Saphir. Floral and slightly citrusy hop accents. Very nice. kappldav123 (6133) - GERMANY - JUN 2, 2013
Thanks to quack-duck for that bottle. Looks simple but good. Beer in the glass deep golden, small head. Starts mild, malty-spicy, mild-dry background. Finish with some grasy notes, a bit metallically. Okay. Geiserich (4623) - Linz, AUSTRIA - MAY 22, 2010
Bottled: Pale golden color, low creamy head and low carbonation. Light hints of flowers, straw and hay aroma. Flavor is only light grainy, mainly hoppy with hints of flowers, hay and some herbs. Dry, bitter finish, light astringent. Dry bitter end. Quite ok but not to complex.

Bottle. Pours a light golden colour with a small white head. Slight grassy and herbal hop aroma. Flavour is pleasant tasting, mostly of grain and hops. A surprisingly okay pilsner with a nice hop bitterness throughout. McWorta (1633) - LUXEMBOURG - MAR 9, 2015
Crystal clear, deep yellow straw colour with a fine white head and good lacings. Fresh straw aromas with notes of barnyard and subtle citrus peel and flower notes. Softly carbonated, thin bit slick texture, light-medium body. Nice snappy hoppy bitterness with a touch of malty sweetness. Bit dry lasting finish. Bottle, 0,33 l, Spar, Hainburg, Austria. Golden color, with small head. Aroma, grain, corn and hops. Taste, starts sweet, with fruit notes, bitter finish. Drinkable beer. Shakesbeer (15) - Vienna, AUSTRIA - JUN 22, 2010
Brewed with tasty "Saphir" hop - therefore the name. Very nice nose, fruity, flowery, slightly yeasty. Small, quickly vanishing head. Average light golden appearance in the glass. Pleasant taste, mainly hoppy, still a hint of malty sweetness. Dry, hoppy, slightly acidic in the aftertaste. A well done Saphir Pilsener, but not the best Saphir beer I have tasted. pivnizub (10813) - Bochum, Porř, GERMANY - MAY 4, 2013
Bottle (kindly donated by Quack-Duck!):Pale golden, clear, small and slowly collapsing white head, mild aromatic-phenolic hoppy spots in the bitter and pale-malty nose; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied and soft; an increasing touch of noble hops is detectable in the bitter and malty finish. A quite nice brew from the Austrian-Hungarian Empire…
