Clear medium orange yellow colour with a large to huge, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly to fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, hay, light hoppy, light yeasty. Flavour is moderate to light heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sweet malt, grainy, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20120217]

Bamberg Bash, Day 1. Train bottle swig. Light haze on this gold beer, good white head. Palate is light and softish. Soft and slightly sweet pale malt. Light floralness and a suggestion of something fruity. Dry finish with a touch of spice.

Nose is bitter dark fruits, orange peel, earthy, citric tinged hay. Taste comprises pithy orange, bready malt, earthy, bread dough, tangerine, light caramel. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying closure. Ok.
