Bottle. An average euro-lager. The beer poured a light golden yellow in color with a good, white, fizzy head. The aroma is pretty standard grassy with a grainy sweetness. Tasting - This brew has a bit of a bite to it. The hops definitely outweigh the malts. It is fairly clean with a fairly light body. All-in-all a decent brew.

$1 bottle grottos on main. Had it ice cold and was probably old. Tasted as if it had absolutely no hops in it, more of a marzen then a lager. Not bad for $1 dollar and the abv is undectable and its smooth. Tastes like there are no adjuncts but the barley is like worst quality ever.

afterglow (1047) - Florida, USA - OCT 19, 2007
Bottle. Pours a clear pale golden with a large long lasting white head that leaves good lacing. Aroma of sweet pilsner malt. Taste is sweet pilsner malt. Medium thin slightly watery mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness. Good.

[Bottle from Anna shared with Jan.] Poland makes some good porters, why not sample them instead!

Pale golden. Grassy and some metallic feel in aroma and taste. Boring!......

Doesn’t say Jasne Pelne on it. Brown 12 oz bottle. Very clean and enjoyable aroma. Absolutely no skunk. Ubiquitous pale yellow american lager color and appearance. The initial taste is quite surprising conseidering the aroma. Its more bitter than expected. There is a sort of apple flavor to this. That bitterness keeps building thru the session. It leads to a finish that is somewhat sharp, industrial or bimetallic. Mild overall carbonation. Not as well behaved as I anticipated.

UPDATED: SEP 29, 2007 Leaves an impressive fluffy head. Very smooth tasting. Smells of hops... It’s similar to other Euro lagers, but there’s just a little something extra to it that makes it solid choice in my opinion. Cheers to my Polish friend who showed me it.

Hazy yellow body, fluffy white head, but very fast disappearing. Not much else to say about it though.
