Franconian "Oktoberfest" Anstich Draft Night!
Details
Join us at ChurchKey Monday, October 11th as we offer a new take on the traditional Southern Bavarian Oktoberfest. We will be featuring 10 different rare and delicious German lagers from 10 different small Franconian breweries, all dispensed on the bar from gravity poured kegs! This is the traditional Anstich, or tapping, that Franconians employ for their celebration of the Elisabethian Church, the Sandkerwa, at the end of every August in the old part of Bamberg ("Sand"). Bamberg is a town in Franconia, which is located in Upper Bavaria, so we feel like this is a cool way to demonstrate the confluence of two separate Bavarian cultures!
Come out and taste some super-rare lagers served in a manner that guarantees ultimate freshness and most closely executes the intentions of these talented Franconian brewmasters!
