A festival of sour & lambic beers from Belgium, Germany, Italy, and USA!
Spring is here! Nothing wakes up our palates from the heavy, stronger beers of winter than refreshing, food-friendly sour and lambic beers! The top boutique importers- Shelton brothers, B. United, and 12 Percent- have their best, along with select beers from American.
The event will be Saturday April 16 from noon to 5pm at Jimmy’s No.43 in the heart of the East Village. BeerMenus and Jimmy’s No. 43 teamed up to discover the best of sour beers. Traditional lambics, flemish reds from Belium; berliner weisse from Germany have spawned sour wild yeast beers in America, Italy, and Canada. We’ll serve, expo style, our favorite small batch, new and classic sour beers paired with local cheese, charcuterie, and chocolate.
Top pairing: Charcuterie w/ Flemish Sour and Sam Barbieri’s Head Cheese w/ Rodenbach Vintage!
