Great Divide and 21st Amendment Brewing - Tasting at Veritas
Details
For those of you who have joined us for our beer tasting in the last few months, you’ve been a part of our March Madness Craft Beer Tasting. But that has also created a backlog of all our newest beers that have yet to be tasted in the shop. As we come to the end of our March Madness Craft Beer... Tasting, we are planning our next set of tastings where we will concentrate on 4 breweries each month (two breweries every other week).
We are super excited to taste our first 2 breweries - Great Divide (Denver, CO) and 21st Amendment (San Francisco, CA). Both of these breweries have been kicking butt on the shelves.
Great Divide prides themselves on strong beers (7% ABV and above). The original motivation for their beers came from harnessing the energy of Denver’s urban atmosphere along with the enormity of the awe inspiring mountains of Colorado. The Yeti Series stouts are like drinking dark velvet while their Rice Ale is a must try. We love Great Divide because their beers
21st Amendment prides themselves on making beers that are unlike beers from other breweries. And with names like Monk’s Blood and Bitter American, the names give a hint as to what’s in the CAN. Yes, they put their beers in cans. But these aren’t the same cans you pop would drink (of even you would in college).
Cheers, Veritas
