Victory Brewing Beer Dinner at Flying Saucer Addison
Flying Saucer Draught Emporium will host a beer dinner with Victory Brewing Company Tuesday, April 17 at 7 p.m. at its 14999 Montfort Dr. location, with special guest Bill Covaleski, co-founder and owner of the brewery.
Guests will have the opportunity to meet Covaleski, who will lead them through the various courses of the night. He also will be on hand before and after the event to speak with the evening’s guests.
Victory will serve five different beers during the dinner, each being paired with a food course designed to highlight the flavors of the brew. The evening will begin with a “social beer,” which will be Braumeister Pils, Victory’s take on a classic German pilsner. The first course of the dinner will be salmon tartar with goat cheese, lime caviar and red bell peppers paired with Helios Ale, Victory’s Saison ale. This will be followed by a second course of roasted plum and raisin flatbread with ricotta and arugula salad, paired with V-12, a vintage-dated Belgian quadruple ale. Diners will then be treated to Victory’s Scarlet Fire Rauchbier, a German smoked beer, paired with coffee- and chili-braised short ribs with carrot ginger puree and pickled mushrooms. Finally, a dessert of chocolate banana crepes will be served alongside Victory’s Golden Monkey, a Belgian Tripel ale.
Tickets for the event are $40 for U.F.O. Club members and $45 for non-members. They can be purchased by calling 972-991-7093 or in person at the Saucer.
