DC Brau Hell’s Bottom Oatmeal Stout Launch Party + Draft Feature
Details
American Craft Beer Week celebrations continue on Wednesday, May 16 as we proudly host a launch party for the brand new brew from the local craft brewing brethren over at DC Brau. Come in for a first taste of Hell’s Bottom, a deliciously drinkable dark brew. Named for what was historically one of DC’s most notorious neighborhoods, Hell’s Bottom is an Oatmeal Stout that starts with a heavy roast character to wake up the pallet. A touch of bitterness, contributed by Northern Brewer hops, follows and then the oats take over, offering a smooth, creamy mouthfeel.
In addition we’ll pour six other DC Brau brews including the "Abbey" version of The Stone of Arbroath. DC Brau took a mere 120 gallons of their standard Stone of Arbroath Scotch Ale and fermented it in oak barrels with a Belgian Abbey Ale yeast strain. This brew is stunning!
DC Brau Draft List:
Hell’s Bottom
"Abbey" Stone of Arbroath
Ground Wolf Session IPA
Penn Quarter Porter
The Citizen
The Corruption
The Public
There is no admission for this event and all DC Brau drafts will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. pours.
Cost: Free
