Come out to sample some locally brewed beers made with honey by Butler Brew Works, Fatheads Brewery and Rivertowne Brewing…then suit up with an expert while they open a hive!

What could be better than sampling honey beers and supporting an organization that helps sustain the sources that we use to make them?

Admission Includes: Sampling, Apiary Open Hive Tour, Garden Tour, Equipment Info Session and Q & A with the bee keeping Experts.

This is a 3 hour event for $25.00 and everyone should arrive at 1:00PM. We will split into four groups and rotate every 45 minutes. Register to be in one of the four groups:

Group 3
Group 4

All the ticket funds will be donated back to the BurghBees organization. Their mission is to raise beekeeping awareness to Pittsburghers in order to promote bees and beekeeping and in so doing, stewardship of the environment.

It’s a really great way to give back to the honey bees by educating our community and promoting beekeeping as a vital part of sustainable agriculture in Pittsburgh and it’s suburbs.
