Mike Weed of Weed Beer suffered a stroke at the young age of thirty-seven years on May 17, 2013, and unfortunately has lost the use of his right side and is unable to speak. He is at the very beginning of a long journey to recovery and rehabilitation at Gaylord Hospital in Wallingford, Connecticut.

To help celebrate Father’s Day, bring your whole family to a community event “Weedstock 2013″ to help support Mike Weed, his wife Heidi, and three children. The event will be a day for all to come together and show support by raising money for the family.

Expect live bands, food, beverages, raffles, silent auctions, bounce houses and more!

Tickets are on sale at Cheshire Wine & Spirits and Main Street Cafe (Cheshire, CT) for $25 (per person). Children under 12 will be admitted for free. Tickets can also be purchased at the door on the day of the event.
