Riverside Brewing Tap Takeover at The Hive Bar

Details

Ater 5 years the Hive Bar has become an Erskineville institution with its relaxed atmosphere, great music and attitude free, friendly service. During those years the inner west has changed as well with a proliferation of small bars that The Hive Bar was at the forefront of and it has chosen to evolve to meet the changing demand. The bar’s beverage offerings have increased dramatically with an expansive new back bar (made from recycled timber of course) featuring well over 100 different spirits, an ever growing assortment of Australian made products and now one of the best names for craft beer in Sydney - http://www.theurbanlist.com/sydney/a-list/best-craft-beer-bars-sydney

Self professed beer nerd and new operations manager Adam Parker is one of the driving forces behind the cultivation of the craft beer scene at The Hive Bar and the organiser of the upcoming Riverside Brewery tap takeover. “People are looking for more quality over quantity these days, with that in mind and The Hive Bars ’locally grown’ philosophy we have the perfect setting for great craft beer” Parker said. "The boys at Riverside have offered a fantastic selection of beer which we are proud to showcase.”
The Riverside Brewing Company will be stepping in on Thursday the 6th of March for the first ever ‘Tap Takeover’ at the venue with a line up consisting of their 77 IPA, 69 Summer Ale, 55 Pale Ale, 33 Golden Ale and possibly a Porter or Amber to round it out. The kitchen will be serving finger food to match and local vinyl DJ’s will be spinning the tunes all night. “We anticipate the night will be a destination for craft beer lovers of Sydney and the inner west as well as a taste of things to come for us here at The Hive Bar” Parker added.
