The Sour Session Volume 9: 20 Wild Ales on Tap including Cantillon Fou’ Foune!

Wednesday, February 26th, 2014 brings the ninth edition in our series!

For this occasion, we will be tapping a hyper-rare keg from inimitable Brasserie Cantillon: Fou’ Foune! This exceptional beauty is a blend of Cantillon-brewed lambics aged 2 years in oak barrels with Bergeron apricots.

We also got our hands on a Zymatore series brew, matured and soured in the USA by B. United Imports: Birra Del Borgo 25 Dodici aged in Ransom Gin and Pinot Noir barrels.

Other offerings for this session: a new brew from LoverBeer called Baciami Lipsia (an Italian sour ale inoculated with Lactobacillus & brewed with Himalayan pink salt) & Beer Brugna (a Flanders Red Ale brewed with Damaschine plums); Sante Adairius & Evil Twin Joey Pepper (a Belgian blond ale brewed with white peppercorns & spiked with Brettanomyces clausenii) & Evil Twin Femme Fatale Yuzu (a 100% Brettanomyces-fermented IPA with yuzu fruit); from England, The Wild Beer Co has sent us a keg of Modus Operandi (a Flanders Red Ale aged in bourbon barrels with Brettanomyces).

We will also have some now classic German tart brews: Bayerischer Bahnhof Leipziger Gose, 1809 Berliner Weisse from Professor Fritz Briem, and Original Ritterguts Gose.

There is no admission fee for this event and all Sour Session drafts will be priced individually in 4 oz. tasters and full glass pours.
