One of the most exciting new American Craft Brewers, Funkwerks out of Fort Collins, Colorado, will be kicking off Savor Week 2014 with us at Birch & Barley on Monday, May 5th 2014! On this evening, Funkwerks Cofounder Brad Lincoln will join BBCK Beer Director Greg Engert in hosting what promises to be an unforgettable evening of craft beer and food. We will be pairing no fewer than nine delicious Funkwerks brews, each selected from their vault of rarities, with five courses of outstanding seasonal creations passionately crafted by our Executive Chef Kyle Bailey and Pastry Chef Tiffany MacIsaac.
This will be the first time that Funkwerks, the 2012 winner for Best Small Craft Brewery of the Year at GABF, has ever poured their Belgian-inspired ales in Washington, DC, and we can’t think of a better way to taste some of the scarcest brews from their arsenal...
