New Belgium Pre-Tour de Fat Party: 15 Delicious Drafts, 2014 New Belgium Cruiser Raffle + Debut of Bluejacket & New Belgium Sideshow Dry-Hopped Sour Ale!

Join ChurchKey, Washington Area Bicycle Association (WABA) & New Belgium Brewing Company for an evening of Beers, Bikes, & the Tour de Fat Warm Up!

We will be featuring 15 amazing New Belgium drafts, including 6 different Lips of Faith beers: Gruit, Collaboration Ale with Cigar City, Wild2 Dubbel, La Folie 2014, Yuzu, & Peach Porch Lounger. We also nabbed a few beers rarely seen outside of Colorado: Billy’s Beer, a Belgian Strong Blond Ale brewed with kiwi & ginger; and Irby’s Ale, an American Blond Ale brewed with Saaz hops to give it a Belgian spicy herbal note, yet it’s been “Americanized” with Citra and Amarillo hops!

This event will also serve as the world debut of Sideshow, a collaboration between Bluejacket & New Belgium! This 7.0% Golden Ale has been heavily dry-hopped with Mosaic, Galaxy & Nelson Sauvin hops to give it a wonderful bouquet of watermelon candy, pineapple & mango; these characteristics combined with a portion of acidified wort provide a touch of citric sourness & pithy bitterness.

And…each New Belgium brew will be specially priced for the event! From 5pm until 9pm, Fat Tire, Ranger IPA, Blue Paddle, Summer Helles, Trippel, & Shift will be $4 per glass, while all others will be $6 per glass!

WABA will be selling Raffle Tickets (1 ticket = $2, or 3 tickets = $5) for the chance to win a New Belgium 2014 Custom Cruiser. All proceeds from the raffle will benefit the WABA. (You must be present at 9 pm for the drawing to win).
