This week we begin our Styles Series with a focus on various lager styles. While some people associate lagers with just the bland, pale, mass-marketed domestic light lagers, there is actually a huge world of lager styles. This week we will cover the whole range of lager styles from the crisp and refreshing Helles and Pilsner styles all the way to full-throttled Doppelbocks and Baltic Porters. As always, we will be trying some outstanding examples of the various styles we discuss.
