“Mountaineer Brewfest” is the newest and most anticipated festival coming to the Wheeling Heritage Port in 2014. This festival will bring West Virginia’s artisans of Craft and Micro brews to the Heritage Port for an event destined to attract a large audience from the Ohio Valley and beyond. This event will showcase West Virginia’s diverse entries in the Craft and Microbrew market with participants from around the state. In addition to the WV Brewery tastings, we will also offer Brewing Competitions, the Budweiser Brew Master Tour, and much more.

You gotta have great entertainment to go along with great beer, right! Well headlining the 2014 Mountaineer Brewfest is Tony Janflone Jr. Blues/rock/Jazz guitarist and singer-song writer Tony Janflone Jr. is a much sought after session player and band leader of the Tony Janflone Jr Band. Critics describe his guitar style as cross between the soul of Santana, the jazzy feel of Robben Ford, and the blues feel of Stevie Ray. Patrick Arena of The Southern Voice says “this guy is not only a commanding blues and rock singer but his guitar chops could blow most of the big guitar giants of today off of the stage.”. Also on stage at the Brewfest, we will have local artist Tim Ullom bringing his friends and their unique brand of “energized” Country and local Wheeling favorite Justin Rector and his band New American Groove performing their fun loving rock n roll!
