The annual Solway CAMRA Branch beer festival, held in the comfortable first floor ballroom of the Hallmark, right outside Carlisle railway station. 50 cask ales, with approximately half from Cumbria/Dumfriesshire and the remainder from around the UK. 12 ciders this year, featuring Scottish cider from Waulkmill, of Langholm and a focus on Northern England cider.

£3 on the door, advance tickets £2 from Hallmark Hotel, Kings Head, Carlisle, Drovers Rest, Monkhill, Moo Bar, Penrith. CAMRS members £1, free entry after 5pm Saturday evening.
