High Noon Saloon hosts Brooklyn-based Sixpoint Brewery for a tap takeover/release party from 7-10 p.m. on Thursday, January 22. The event features the first Chicago tapping of two new beers from the brewery’s Cycliquids series: this year’s release of Hi-Res (Triple IPA), and the newest beer in the series, Beast Mode (American Porter). Other limited beers on offer include Global Warmer (Imperial Red Ale), a Cycliquids series winter seasonal. Three year-rounds will also be tapped: Bengali (West Coast-Style IPA), The Crisp (Czech-Style Pilsner) and Resin (Double IPA).

Sixpoint-spiked food specials on offer include The Crisp-braised chicken and spinach flautas; Bengali caramelized onion dip; and Resin-and chipotle-glazed shrimp tacos. Patrick Long, Sixpoint’s Midwest regional manager, will be on-hand for beer education, and the brewery gives away glassware, wearables and other logoed gear. There is no cover charge and food and drink are pay-as-you-go ($4-$8 each).
