DC Expanded Sour Tasting

Details

The theme for this local gathering is sours, but as always, all beer styles are welcome. Country ticks are also widely appreciated, and my freezer is full of previous country eisbocks that need to be cleaned out to make room for more.

Like you said in another forum, Gene, I’ll probably spend the first 20 minutes ticking the entire country’s beer. Then I’ll switch to rum.

Got four new Avery barrel-aged sours and a Lickinghole Creek Redneck Soap Opera rum barrel-aged quad (cause i like the name)

Thanks for the invite Gene. It’s going to be hard for me to make. I’m going to Where the Wild Beers Are on May 30th. I’m not sure if I could make it down after that or if my acid reflux can handle two sour themed tastings back to back. I’ll let you know if I can though. Cheers!

Well, if you see any sours from DR, esp if they’re barrel aged or spontaneously fermented, please bring them back.
