Meet the brewer: Peeter Keek of Põhjala (Estonia)

The best brewery from Estonia is in town to collaborate with our local hero’s, so what’s more natural than visiting ØST on “Tap Takeover Thursday”. ØST will be serving at least 5 different Põhjala beers on tap. (Disclaimer: Beer list might change before event)

- Saak, Pumpkin Beer 6,7%
Transelation: Harvest
Autumn special - pumpkin ale spiced with ginger, nutmeg, cinnamon and cloves.

- Pesakond, Black IPA 5,4%
A Black IPA brewed with fresh spruce tips and blueberries for the 20th anniversary of the Pesakond comic strip.

- Pime Öö, Imperial Stout 13,6%
Translation: Dark Night
Imperial Stout brewed for the longest night of the year. Syrupy yet smooth, sweet yet strong. The best way to enjoy deepe winter and brood over the darkness in life.

- Topeltnelson, Nelson Sauvin IPA, 8,2%
Translation: Double (or full) Nelson. A double IPA showcasing a single hop - New Zealand’s Nelson Sauvin.

- Odensholm, Porter 9%
A Põhjala/Lervig collaboration. RELEASED ONLY ON TAP! Odensholm is the Scandinavian name for the Estonian island of Osmussaar, meaning ’Odin’s islet’. Legend has it that the great Viking god is buried on this small island off the northwestern coast of Estonia. Odensholm is a big porter, brewed with rye and chocolate rye malts, giving the beer a nice spicy kick and dark chocolate notes.
