Another in our series of occasional cellar-clearing bacchanals, this time to bid fond farewell to Profrockstar and Beastiefan2k, who warmed our soggy Seattle hearts all too briefly. sniff!

Same day as the bacon and beer thing. Should I feel bad about that?

We ask that you bring 2-3 bombers or 750s of something no one has tried. You can get as aged, rare, weird, small-batched or obscure as you want. We can orchestrate a blind tasting of some kind if there’s consensus, but the focus for now is on anything you want to drink with other fanatics.

I will crack a few things from De Garde that haven’t made it to Seattle.

Feel free to bring snacks if you like (interesting cheese, charcuterie, and bread just never disappoint). Mrs after4ever will make a ton of chicken wings or curry or something to soak up the bulk of the libations. She’d love to hear a couple ideas for things people would like.

These things are sometimes coherent note-taking events with clear dedicated rounds for each bottle, and occasionally get goofy later in the evening with corks popping ad hoc. If you want to bring stuff that’s better at one point or the other, we can make that work.

If the weather’s nice, we can hang out on the deck, but I’ll need to get some chairs and stuff out there; feel free to bring a lawn chair if you spot the sun.
