Join us on Monday, August 22nd as we host the official DC debut of Modern Times Beer. On this night, we’ll feature the very first Modern Times kegs ever poured in DC, totaling 13 different brews in all!

We’ve had our eyes on this exciting brewery for a while now, and couldn’t be more excited to finally pour their beers. In just 3 short years, Modern Times has earned a spot at the top of the San Diego craft beer scene with their bold and hoppy IPAs. Far from a one-trick pony, the young brewery is also produces a line of fruited sour beers, dark, roasty coffee beers and rustic farmhouse ales.

Highlights from the list include Blazing World, an aggressively hoppy Amber Ale brewed with Nelson Sauvin, Mosaic & Simcoe hops; Barrel-Aged Monsters’ Park, a 13% ABV Imperial Stout aged 5 months in Heaven Hill Bourbon barrels; and two versions of Fruitlands, their rotating series of fruited Goses.
There is no admission fee for this event and all Modern Times beers will be priced individually by the glass and in 4 oz. tasting pours.
