We are excited to announce that we will be hosting a Bavarian Beer Garden every Saturday and Sunday, from April to October, on our patio in 2017. To kick the Beer Garden off, we are hosting a special launch party on Sunday, April 2nd that will feature live Oompah music, festively dressed staff, Oktoberfest-themed games, amazing beers and a menu of Red Apron meats, including bratwurst, kielbasa, half-smokes & more!

Beer Director Greg Engert has compiled an impressive beer list for the April 2nd launch party, one that showcases a dozen of the very best German-style beers from abroad and from the local scene alike. Engert has sourced some of the rarest brews from Bavaria, including two that will be making their Montgomery County debut: Braubäcker Berliner Weisse, a tart and quenching wheat ale of only 2.5% abv, and Gänstaller Bräu Affumicator, a strong, smoked lager from one of the newest, and smallest, brewers in Germany.

All featured beers will be available in taster and full glass pours, as well as in a festive, large format option that’s perfect for drinking in the Beer Garden. During the launch party, the large format pour will be served in a 20 Oz. commemorative Owen’s Ordinary mug, which will be free to take home with the first purchase of any large format Beer Garden selection:
