Birmingham Convention 2022

Details

Just a revamp of the itinerary now we are nearer to the date and I (Theydon_Bois) know my travel pans.

Meet in the Briar Rose (Spoons) for breakfast ... SHIG and I (probs RTV also) from 0910.

Move a few doors up the road to the Wellington … opens at 1000.

Take an Uber out to Cotts 1045 or so … Cotts opens at 1100 for birthday beers in the taproom.

RTV has picked up 10 tickets for this ... they are free but I think they are required for crowd control.

Depart Cotts 1245 or so and walk 10/15 minutes to the Glasshouse brewery taproom for 13.00. Half an hour or so there then ...

Take our friend Mr Uber over to Digbrew for 1400. I HAVE booked us a table here for beer / food for 10 people … their pizza is fantastic (entirely optional but do give up a seat for anyone eating if there's more than 10).

Leave Digbrew 1500/15 and wander up to Tilt via Halton & Turner taproom.

Land at Tilt around 1600 … beers on tap, beers to share … conclude at 1900.

Depending on your train home you may have time for any number of city centre bars ... SHIG and I are heading out of town at 2015 so time for one more stop perhaps ... scope to sort your own additional stops ... I'm thinking Sommar Brew or maybe Kielder under the arches at Moor St as suits our exit plan.

I’m planning on pushing SHIG over outside Tilt at 7pm if anyone wants to see how easy it is to take down USA military might!
