The following photographs chronicle the events of March 8, 2003 at Pizza Port, Carlsbad. No names have been changed to protect the guilty.

$20 dollars got you in, a glass and tickets for 4-4oz samples. Additional tickets were $1 dollar. Belgian glassware and whole bottles were available for multiple tickets as well.

“Brother” Tom checks the beer wheel. The wheel was spun to determine which beer you would get to sample.
Or you could choose from the opened bottles or a list of draft beers available as well.

Sadly, it only lasted 12 hours. That went by way to quickly.
Good friends, good brews, (and some debauchery too…) what
more could you ask for? It always leaves me waiting for next year.
I vote for a 365 day Belgian Fest!!!!
