I’m closing in on 200, which is exciting, but I’m starting to run out of options for stuff I can find locally. How do you guys find the "harder to get" beers for the book? |
Get the 300 Beers book instead. Then you’re even closer. |
Originally posted by BeardedAvenger Haha I’ve considered just getting the Michael Jackson book but half of those were retired when I was in middle school. |
There is a tag for that book somewhere on here, but I can never find the bloody tag list page! |
Originally posted by BlackHaddock I usually find a beer I know is on there and click it to find the tag. The problem is that many of them are Czech beers that we simply don’t get in Michigan. I’ve never even had a Polotmavy unfortunately. I’d love to visit the Czech Republic and have them properly from cask but I’m years away from that kind of income. |
This damn book. Soldiering through it has not been the most pleasant of experiences, good sir. haha |

Trade or ask friends/colleagues who travel regularly to pick something up for you. You can usually find decent bottle shops on this site to refer people to. |
Currently on 424 beers from the book. I have never tried to collect them so pretty pleased with the total. Doubt it will rise in number much though, some expensive and rare stuff left for me to find. |
369 here, though never tried to hunt the beers from this book. |
I have 560 and I have never heard of the book before. Ungstrup is number 1 with 862. |
