13 best beer countries

Message jtclockwork P beers 21132 º places 554 º 23:35 Mon 3/16/2015 I’ve seen worse lists for sure, but I disagree with Belgium at #1. I’d definitely put US first and probably UK second--at least for me personally.

The overall quality is arguably lower than what you’ll find in the remaining traditional European lager cultures (Austria, Slovakia, Switzerland, etc) but these scenes are more unique. I also feel they stand above the slew of countries whose beer scenes, while sometimes large, are still rather nascent in terms of distribution and quality (South Africa, Brazil, Israel, Mexico, China, etc). The only real wild card for me is where to stick Singapore.

I liked what I had in my 2 days there, but yeah, it sounds like Brazil could be on these types of lists, if anybody was able to try the beers. My visa is still good, though.
