CENTRAL WATERS,TYRANENA,NEW GLARUS,DELAFIELD BREWHAUS,3 SHEEPS |
Central Water,s NG, 3 sheeps, hinterland, titeltown |
Wish I had ten to choose from, but these five are on my always visit list: |
Central Waters, O’so, New Glarus, Funk Factory (maybe I’m cheating), Tyranena |
New Glarus #1, Furthermore, Tyranena, Central Waters, Oso |
New Glarus and Dave’s Brewfarm near the top. Oso. Central Waters. |
Forgot about Dave’s Brewfarm...I might include them in or at least close to the top 5. |
1. New Glarus -- For the truly special fruit beers and some of the Thumbprint stuff. I think their everyday six-packs are mediocre, and Spotted Cow may be the worst flagship of any highly respected craft brewery (but it pays for all the experimental stuff, so I grudgingly respect it). |
Originally posted by islay I’ll go against the grain here. While it doesn’t blow me away by any means, I occasionally enjoy a spotted cow. Moon Man is also one of my favorite pale ales on the planet. Two Women also is solid. For seasonals, Dancing Man and Black Top are both great, while the coffee stout is better than average. |
Originally posted by JK Dave’s Brewfarm is for sale if you’re interested....... For me, I mostly like the bigger guys, New Glarus, Oso, Central Waters, Vintage and most recently Karben4. Pretty impressed with them so far in their young start. |
