Strangeways is close enough to Mekong that it’s worth a look, especially if they happen to have live music back in the barrel room.

Oh, and if you like dry ciders, Blue Bee is worth a stop

I don’t know the weekend hours, and it will probably be packed, but you might want to check out The Veil.

Lots of good choices.
The ANswer since you’ll already be there.
The Veil
Isley
Ardent
Black Heath Mead

Stone is pretty amazing.

A ton more too. Even if old and tired like Legend, still solid.

Lickinghole Cream and COTU are awesome out of town.

Side trip to Charlottesville / Nelson County is worth it if you have the time.

Lickinghole Creek of course. Although it would be interesting to have Cream on your Lickinghole

Damn auto correct.

I turned off my autocorrect after the "I’m drinking with the morons" incident in Utah.

Hit Mekong for lunch, visited Veil, Ardent and Isley. Hotel bar, Quirk, had a Lickinghole Creek on tap

I see that you were somewhat underwhelmed with Veil beers. Did you not factor the hype into your scoring?

What did you think of the place though?
