Confusingly the Windsor Castle in Clapton has also had a major face-lift/re-rub and has some ok beers in. |
New Brodies beer spotted at The Cock Tavern. Oyster Tea Stout, 7%. Looks like they recently had a Hoppy Collie beer on, though it had kicked by the time of my arrival. Always nice to see a new face on the scene. |
One-off cask at Duke’s still pouring. A very nice amber called Anakin’s Glow Stick. |
Redchurch may have run out of Saison on tap at the brewery, but they do have an extremely limited number of bottles available for takeaway. |
At the Cock Tavern: their Russian Imperial Porter is now on keg. At £4.90 per half, I would guess you lot have a bit of time to track this one down. They also have bottles and, I would guess, a few more kegs and casks. |
I just picked up three ciders that aren’t on the site (but will be soon). |
Chris, I think I speak for everyone when I say that we appreciate your efforts. If you can restrain yourself from sinking those PETs by yourself on some slow Tuesday afternoon, I think I speak for everyone when I say I hope you save those for a tasting. |
The Wenlock Arms is scheduled to re-open on 3rd June under new management. |
