Confusingly the Windsor Castle in Clapton has also had a major face-lift/re-rub and has some ok beers in.

5 points, Truemans, Meantime, some bottle belgiam stuff. Also food.

New Brodies beer spotted at The Cock Tavern. Oyster Tea Stout, 7%. Looks like they recently had a Hoppy Collie beer on, though it had kicked by the time of my arrival. Always nice to see a new face on the scene.

One-off cask at Duke’s still pouring. A very nice amber called Anakin’s Glow Stick.

Redchurch may have run out of Saison on tap at the brewery, but they do have an extremely limited number of bottles available for takeaway.

At the Cock Tavern: their Russian Imperial Porter is now on keg. At £4.90 per half, I would guess you lot have a bit of time to track this one down. They also have bottles and, I would guess, a few more kegs and casks.

I just picked up three ciders that aren’t on the site (but will be soon).

From Lidl. All less than £1.75 for a 2l PET bottle.

Chris, I think I speak for everyone when I say that we appreciate your efforts. If you can restrain yourself from sinking those PETs by yourself on some slow Tuesday afternoon, I think I speak for everyone when I say I hope you save those for a tasting.

The Wenlock Arms is scheduled to re-open on 3rd June under new management.
