Are they going down a storm?

Euston Tap has a couple limited Thornbridge beers going on today: Reverend the Makers Summer Ale and Belgian Blonde.

Looks like Craft Beer Rising and Whole Foods are teaming up for some shenanigans next week:

It’s an interesting move from Whole Foods UK. I know that Whole Foods outlets in the US can have very good beer selections. Some stores even have bars. Whole Foods Kensington’s had a growler station running for the last year or so. I don’t think I’ve ever seen anyone using it. Will this event stir up interest in growlers? I doubt it.

I don’t know what the culture in London (or England as a whole is) regarding growlers but some of the selections at the Whole Foods in the States are amazing. I’ve picked up some great beers for about half the cost of bottles - if you could even get them not on draft.

There’s a new Fuller’s beer on at Camden Town Brewery at Saturday as part of a blind tastings’ event. I don’t think the CBR thing will have any ticks and it seems a more corporate affair.

Looks like Redchurch has a limited-run coffee IPA on tap at the brewery tonight.

In addition to the apricot pale ale and the recently-released Heavy Water, Duke’s also has a new 2.5% hoppy number called Pipsqueak available now on cask.
