Too bad I won’t be around for this. Is this being run by Mikkeller?

Going up against GBBF, yeah? Ballsy, though I imagine the two target audiences for these fests would have minimal overlap.

Unfiltered Pilsner Urquell is now a permanent fixture at the White Horse On Parsons Green. £4.85 a pint. Currently enjoying one in their beer garden.

Will have to go and check this out during the week.

Ah, forgot to mention that I originally misheard what version of Pilsner Urquell is now being served at the White Horse. It’s the tankovná version, not the unfiltered version. So while it’s unpasteurized, it would still be rated under normal Pilsner Urquell. I thought it was delicious either way, so it’s definitely still worth checking out.

Great brewery lineup so far. Looking forward to seeing who else is added.

Not that much overlap. GBBF on Satuirday is normally not worthwhile & Friday evening is crazy busy. Still, I’m not about to shell out 35 quid on a ticket without knowing what the beers will be.

£35 for a festival ticket is taking the piss. Especially if most of those beers are available already around London. Plus we’ll probably get the same batches at Borefts anyway of De Molen and Mikkeller stuff...well it’s good but it’s not £35 good....... it’d have to be something really good to tempt me with that...I’m very annoyed that tickets are £35.....for what??? The smallprint says...’still working’ so it’s not guaranteed??? I’m getting angry now.....

Also it’s definitely not five pints if there’s nine breweries going. 150ml x 9 = 1350. 1350/568 = 2.37 so either it’s going to be sixteen breweries or they can’t do Maths.

No they really can’t do Maths. On their Twitter feed it says ’20 of the best’...hmmmm.....

http://www.londoncraftbeerfestival.co.uk/brewers/

12 breweries confirmed, with space for up to 9 more

20 breweries * 150ml = 3000ml
3000ml / 568ml = 5.28 pints

I still haven’t decided whether to go or not, need to think about the timings a bit more, which day, which session etc.
