I rotate through a variety of snifters, wine glasses, tekus, tulips etc. depending on my mood. Right now, I’m using this a lot: http://ecbiz122.inmotionhosting.com/~idrink6/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/IMG_9200.jpg

Red wine glasses seem to be catching on these days in the beer world, which I guess goes hand in hand with high end beer getting more wine-like. Good wine glasses are easier to find than good beer glasses in the on-premise trade at least, so it’s not a development that I’m really against. For the beers that I drink most of the time though (pils, pale ale, IPA), a non-stemmed glass just feels better to me. For strong ales and wild stuff, I can totally get down with a red wine glass.

I use Duvel glass for most of the belgian styles (I have also a Westmalle glass for trappist beers, but I often use the Duvel one also for these beers).

Weizen and Weizenbock beers only in a weizen glass.

Stout and lagers in general, I drink them usually in the Guinness glass, or in every pint shaped glass.

Cheap tulip glass from World Market for average stuff. Founders snifter for imperial stouts. One of those weird Spalgeau glasses for when I feel like looking like a douche (seriously). Thistle glass for scotch ales (also for looking like a douche).

I pour stuff out on counter, table or floor and lick it up.
