Took a while, but I finally got my Berlin Beer Travel Guide finished. Basically I just highlight my favorite bar, brewery, and bottle store in the city. Not conclusive, but hopefully it’s helpful to someone. |
The Brewbaker Pils is available at Scönefeld airport, so that’s a easy one to take home. |
Brewbaker is a definite must visit. I am just disappointed that many of the bottles show inconsistency with many presenting signs of infection while some that I had became undrinkable with just yeast mud that ruined half of the latter. |
No love for Hops & Barley? I thought they were better than Brewbaker but it was admittedly a few years ago, when Brewbaker was still at the original location. |
Thumbs up for Hops&Barley - I’d like to nominate Rollberger Privatbrauerei as my own personal favourite in Berlin though: |
Also there are 2 new micros just starting up in Berlin, both on 300l systems when I’m not mistaken. |
