I generally don’t like to eat while drinking, it affects my ability to get drunk.

I like to have a clean palate when I drink beer (especially a beer I’ve never had). Now I will drink a known beer with food, but I don’t focus much on the beer.

Think of it as a head start on your post dinner drinking.

anyway, beer with pizza is not the "none+ultra" but a light red wine with a light pizza and a heavy red wine with a heavy pizza...that much to this question "pizza with beer"; btw: i´m german, hehe.

+1 wine is much better, the acidity enhances the pizza and the pizza smooths out the wine. No similar with beer.

how on earth can so many beer aficionado not like beer with pizza!? you like pizza? yes! you like beer? yes! So a weaker session brews (like Pale Ale´s, Pilsners and 6% IPA´s) are better enjoyed on their own?

I dont mean to be disrespectful but this I fail to see the logic in this
