The calories listed on the site. I’m assuming they are estimates. Does anyone know what serving size they are for? 8 fl oz? 12 fl oz? Thanks. |
Estimates for a 12 ounce. Sweet beers? Add more. Dry? Might be a bit less. |
Thanks for that also, I’d assumed it was for 355ml/12oz but good to have confirmation. |
we could probably tweak the formula to be more specific for certain beers if it allowed us to enter OG and FG. There are a good deal of brewers who provide that info on their websites or labels. |

Nah, this ones only 96 calories: |
I go on the premise that all beer is at least 170 calories and those are the lighter ones. Also it is assumed that you mean 12 oz, yes? So when you drink that 750 ml bottle of alsesmith speedway stout that’s a lot more than the listed calories. Stouts can be in excess of 300 per 12oz. Your best bet is to google them and then read more than one entry. You will find a difference and then you be able to approximate for yourself in time. |
I’d assume 750’s of things like speedway stout are in the 1000+ calorie range. |
605 calories in a 22 oz Lime a Rita. |
Myfitnesspal seems to pretty accurate with beers that are in the database, otherwise I use the RB estimate and add 50 per 12oz. If you’re worried about calories estimate high. If you’re trying to gain weight, just keep chuggin’ |
