Doc Lock’s 10K and Hidden River

All, many of you will recall, about 6 years ago or so, when Sly Fox brewed a beer to commemorate local beer afficianado and Ale Street News writer Dale Van Wieren’s 10,000th logged beer.

Well, that isn’t the last 10K event you’ll ever get to experience, unless you count the number of men your mother has slept with.

Hidden River will be brewing a special Doc Lock 10K beer. More information will follow, as we are in the process of naming, ironing out the style, specifics, recipe, etc.

Suffice it to say, this one will be EPIC.

OK, gang, just heard from Doug at Hidden River that 10K IPA (Not sure what they are naming it) is carbonating as we speak, and will be tapped at Hidden River next Thursday, 10/27, at 4 PM. I’ll be there a little early, but I’d love to hang out and drink a beer with you guys and gals and whomever is a beer fan. I mentioned this to Hidden River as a whim about a year ago, and am glad they could make it happen. Cheers.
