Message Marko P admin beers 17669 º places 863 º 05:00 Mon 9/29/2014 Let me just say that, after attending the conference, I’m starting to seriously think about offering to host next year’s RBESG in Zagreb. It will, of course, depend on our time & finances at that point, but the scene is finally ready for that - enough breweries & pubs to visit, interesting beers to taste, potential locations, and, perhaps, enough of us locally to pull it off if that’ll be an issue. A day trip to Ljubljana would be a must, of course. :)

Who knows, maybe someone makes a better, more interesting offer elsewhere. It’s still a long way away. PS. Fakin IPA is supposed to out @Medvedgrad by the end of the weekend, so if you’re procrastinating with trying it, better get it ASAP.

Message Marko P admin beers 17669 º places 863 º 02:10 Thu 10/16/2014 Hope to try it... have to admit I wasn’t that thrilled with Mikkel’s last 3-4 pale ales of any kind that I’ve had, found them too sweet, which I’m a bit sad about, because I know he can brew world-class ones (or at least more to my liking :D). Wonder how this will fare with me. :)
Message MarkoNm beers 6134 º places 383 º 09:02 Wed 10/22/2014 Slovenian Laško brewery is preparing something new... they are starting a Laško Special line, which was first presented at the Pivo & Burger Fest last weekend in Ljubljana. Supposedly all three new beers taste fine, unfortunately I didn’t have a chance to try them. There were Laško Citra Lager, Laško Golding and Laško Striptis. The word is they will soon start to bottle them, so we’ll soon see what’s the deal.
