Just noticed that Nagorno-Karabakh has a single drinker on the Most Difficult Countries to Drink page. |
I’m passing there tomorrow, will have a look |
So cool! I really need to get on planning a trip to the unrecognised states of Europe. |
I heard it was a Baltika 7 rebadge. |
But seriously Yantar, I reckon if anyone could get a case of the beer it’s trade value would be massive. |

Actually this has been on the site for a good while: https://www.ratebeer.com/Ratings/Beer/ShowBrewer.asp?BrewerID=19580 |
Originally posted by omhper Oh, sorry, I didn’t notice that. I will look into it. The guy’s rating contains the phrase "Currently this is the only brewery in the country" so I assumed it wasn’t a backlog rating. |
Not to bring this back up again, but the one user that has rated this beer ( https://www.ratebeer.com/user/94354/beer-ratings/) has a pretty suspicious series of ratings: 178 ratings, 178 countries, and most of them were done over the course of a couple of days. Smells fishy. |
Originally posted by adamnowek Yeah, I pointed this out previously when he had around the same amount of ratings, maybe 176 (all backlogged?), which all contained comments like "I tried this a long time ago, can’t remember the taste". I think that he had all those rates converted to ticks. This time it seems that he’s rated them again, but with slightly more detailed descriptions. Getting back to this Nagorno-Karabakh beer, I wrote to this guy on May 8 asking whether it was a recent rate, but haven’t received any reply. So it’s questionable as to whether this beer actually exists anymore. Although someone posted a photo of the brewpub to FourSquare a couple of days ago: https://foursquare.com/v/central/513e0c4be4b0923350badf73 So perhaps it’s still there. |
