Message madmitch76 P beers 36915 º places 240 º 08:54 Tue 6/25/2013 Damn! Alter ego revealed! I’m curious if the Jolly Butchers are using these infusers with the co-operation of the brewers. If I were a brewer I would not want people altering the flavour of my beers unless I was consulted.

I agree. It’s mostly a gimmick. The device CAN improve a shoddy, underhopped beer ON OCCASION. But to run a Kernel beer through an ’infuser’ or a ’Randall’ (I read a tweet that said they did that), beer that I consider to be among the most beautifully hopped and balanced beers on the planet, isn’t just dumb and pointless, it’s also reckless.

Message Niall73 beers 2623 º places 2 º 10:16 Tue 6/25/2013 They have the infuser hooked up to Redwell Steam Lager using northern brewer hops. They get the advice from the brewery regarding which hops would work best apparently. I'm very surprised any of them agree to it at all. ---Posted via Beer Buddy for iPhone
