They still had first 10 or so last time I check. About 20 euro for most +/- 30 for the first 2.

Note that there is a difference between the two quercus editions and the ’regular’ batch 1 and 2. When we were there in 2013 they did have a quercus version, but I doubt they had bottles of the regular batch 1 and 2. That said, you know the ins and outs of that place Eugene so if you say so..

Kulminator no longer has Quercus, I do not believe that they ever had bottles of Quercus – only draft. Back when you were there, the indeed had Quercus on draft but also have bottles of the Oak Aged, no draft (did this ever excist).

I think we mean to say the same thing Eugene, but just to make sure:

They used to have these on tap (beer was indeed not bottled):

http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/la-trappe-quadrupel-quercus-eikenvat-gelagerd-batch-2/145705/

These were the first to Oak Aged Quadrupels that were numbered:

I don’t know for sure but I don’t think they have these beers (anymore).

There has also been some confusion in the past, because they have released a quadrupel then called "3 months oak aged". This was only available for a limited time on draught at a limited number of bars in The Netherlands. I believe this beer has later been renamed as Quercus batch 1, but I have no official confirmation about this.

The Bierkoning in Amsterdam still had some variations when I visited recently. Quite pricey though, but I don’t know what you’re willing to spend on them.

I recently found Batch 12 in a corner of the basement of a bar. I would advise you to keep looking around, you might get lucky as well.

Thank you guys. I’ll probably do a vertical with the available bottles and then try to find the others with time :-)

Cheers!

Good luck André. If I can help you with this in any way let me know.

They still had them last time I checked but that was a few months ago. 30 euro per bottle. I do see a mid 2014 rating of someone having one of them at Kulminator but that isn’t very recent.
