I was never really a fan of the beers Hillard’s was putting out. Should be interesting to see what Lagunitas does with the space.

Curious to see how that will go. It’s going to be weird having a monster like that mixed in the same neighborhood as all the little guys. If this was sports they would have to realign the divisions.

I’m not sure how to feel about this.

Eh--they make some good beers still, and I will usually try them once. But I’m not giving them THAT much of my money, so at most I will hit this place up for a pour here and there of interesting new releases, and nothing more.

I did just have Fusion 39 last night, though, and it was pretty rad. So I’m not quite in full boycott mode with these guys.

Being able to do stuff like this is probably why the sold half interest to Heineken. Not the best of all worlds but way better to sell half to the Dutch than all to the Belgians.

I’m a member of the "never really a fan of the beers Hillard’s was putting out" club, so the potential for getting some Lagunitas limited releases seems like not such a bad thing.
