Hey All,
So I am planning a trip with a few friends and am currently looking for a place like a nice town or city (preferably in the Northeast US) where a bunch of craft breweries are located in close distance to each other, either walking distance or a short drive. I live in Central Jersey and here we can have anywhere from 3-5 breweries within a 10-20 mile radius so I am looking for something similar to that. Any suggestions are welcome.

Greater DC - plenty else to see and do, and easily that many good breweries around.

San Diego has like 3-4 neighborhoods that fit this. If you want an east coast location, Asheville would probably work.

Boise, ID....around 20 breweries within 10 miles of downtown. My brother’s from Philly and comes out every year, he loves it so much...flat too, ideal for bike riding. a little "big" city

Will second Asheville. Incredible density of breweries/beer places there. Burlington is really cool, though the actual number of good breweries in downtown is limited. Foam is excellent and American Flatbread/Zero Gravity is above average. But, plenty of stuff to check out in a short drive and there are some top notch beer focused bars and restaurants as well. Since it hasn’t been mentioned yet: I really enjoyed Portland, Maine. Though it looks like they’ve been getting nailed with snow lately. So, whether or not this is enjoyable is probably dependent on when you’re looking to go. Small city so pretty much everything is a short drive or short to medium walk away, particularly when you’re in the city center.

If you are willing to come to the Northwest, no city on earth has more than Portland.
