Agreed. But I think we do have precedents for different bourbon barrel treatments giving rise to different entries in some instances.

yes, that’s why i wanted to check the bottle, brewer obviously not intending it to be separated by barrel type, even though they give this info on blog, its more of a extra info rather than marketing point

Don’t beers usually stay split until there’s a definitive case for getting aliased or merged?

It wouldn’t really bother me either way, mind.

merged as its the same beer, no different from any other annual release with same recipe

Yes. But I think there’s enough to make a definitive decision in this case.

I’m glad we got the bottom of this one. Next on the agenda is Black Tokyo Hrizon. New release has significantly lower abv 15 vs 17 (something like that) also Nogne appear to have released Horizon Tokyo Black, anyone know what the difference is?
