Its like mushrooms, as soon as it rains more pop up.

This one seems to have had a few RBians visit
http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/state/city/placename/23139.htm

But very little info about this place
http://www.ratebeer.com/Place/state/city/placename/23931.htm
http://untappd.com/brewery/18364/beer
seems fishy.

I am in town for St. Patty’s day and will be dropping off the future in-laws at the airport Sunday morning. Will hit up a spot. Thinking one of these or maybe Ferguson.

The location on the map is about a mile or two from my house, so I’ve got doubt about legitimacy. I’ll see what I can find out.

This was input in error. It has now been deleted.

Layne’s Place is a nanobrewery. There’s little info because we’re in the infant stages. I apologize if we showed up online too early.

And the reference about mushrooms is ridiculous. Just because there is one brewery there shouldn’t be more? I feel that every restaurant should make their own beer, and their own food from scratch (instead of restaurant depot, sysco, US foods, etc.

Just like the Pacific Northwest there can’t be enough unique breweries, nor restaurants in one area.

Go ahead and delete Laynes Place if it is too confusing. We’ll repost it down the line and hope ratebeer-ers feel like the time is right then.

I don’t think the ’mushroom’ reference was meant derogatory at all. We’ve been having a lot of breweries pop up in the area and that’s a good thing in my opinion. Thus far the city has been supporting them and hopefully that continues.

Plus I eat mushrooms more days that not, so keep the real thing coming as well.

Oh, and Heavy Riff brewing should be here before to long in Dowtown. Can’t wait to see what they do.

To clear up vyvvy’s egregious spelling mistake, Heavy Riff will be opening later this year in Dogtown. We still don’t/won’t have any breweries in Downtown, as an outsider may have interpreted his error. Must be those shrooms he eats everyday.

What about that little Belgian brewery downtown, AB-Inbev? I hear they’re doing really cool things with rice and corn, limes and tomatoes.

Soulard isn’t Downtown to a City boy like me. But yes, I also eagerly anticipate the Lime-A-Rita or whatever other flavor creations they’re churning out.

You want me to actually proofread what I post online?
What a ridiculous concept.
