Update on thee three batches of the ESB I’ve got going:

- Wyeast 1968 ESB @ 1.022
- Safale S-04 @ 1.020
- Danstar Windsor @ 1.021

Currently fermenting at 62F
Flavor is indeed similar. This should be interesting.

Seeing the relatively high gravities I moved all three batches upstairs a week ago, hoping that the higher temperatures would convince the yeast to do a bit more work. Nope. Today’s readings:

- Wyeast 1968 ESB - 1.020 FG
- Safale S-04 - 1.020 FG
- Danstar Windsor - 1.020 FG

From a numbers standpoint, the yeasts are now identical.

We (beastiefan2K and I) bottled this weekend.
- Wyeast 1968 ESB - 1.012 FG
- Safale S-04 - 1.012 FG
- Danstar Windsor - 1.012 FG

I’ll be sending these beers out in a couple of weeks, so if you are one of the guys who wanted in on this deal, it’s probably not a bad time to beermail me your address.

Sorry for dropping the ball here. I’ve been out of touch for the last three weeks. I was in Alaska, then Port Townsend WA, then at various points in Montana, and back to Port Townsend again. No Internet and for most of the time, no cell service. I’m home now but I’ll probably be back in PT on Monday.

For you guys who sent me addresses, I’m going to try to get your bottles out tomorrow.

Got them all packaged but not enough time to print labels and drop them off at FedEx tonight. Going out of town tomorrow, so may need to wait until Wednesday or so.

I can do that. You’ll need to beermail me an address. I won’t be able to ship it for a couple of days. I’ll be out of town again, leaving tomorrow at 6:30AM.
